We are very very very spoiled. Most Americans do not take their Liberty for granted just because they can, They do so because they do not know how much Liberty they have.

It is only a small percentage of our population that even has a passport, and even smaller number that has used it for more than a Cruise.

We as a nation have no idea what it really means to be oppressed and subjugated. It has been over three generations since that was the norm for even a large part of our population. Gen X, Gen Why, and Millennials, all now voters

Don't get me wrong, our social structure is not perfect, our divisions still exist. However there might be a hand full of people that remember having armed guards at the polls to _keep them from voting_.

We are complacent in our freedom and that complacency may well be the knife in the heart of a Democratic Republic.
